POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, Workplace Services is responsible for the strategic planning, management and oversight of the organization’s leased real estate portfolio, facilities operations and workplace services. This position helps to ensure NuScale facilities are safe, efficient, compliant and aligned with business objectives while optimizing facilities investments, maintenance programs, capital projects and workplace operations. The Facilities organization is responsible for provide an exceptional workplace experience for employees and visitors at all NuScale locations by providing office administrative services and event support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead facilities operations, maintenance, workplace services and building management activities ensuring compliance with applicable safety, environmental, accessibility and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the organization’s real estate portfolio, including leases, acquisitions, renewals and dispositions. This includes management of facilities related capital assets.
- Develop and execute space planning, strategic facility forecasting, and workplace strategies.
- Oversee and project manage facility construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
- Manage budgets, forecast expenses and identify cost savings opportunities.
- Manage office operations staff providing reception and visitor management, employee services, and meeting and event support.
- Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and service-level performance management for workplace-related services.
- Develop business continuity and facility risk mitigation plans.
- Supervise workplace services staff and foster high-performing team culture.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES :
- Education : A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, architecture, business, or another related field . Professional certification (CFM or equivalent) required; project management certification (PMP) desired.
- Experience : Ten or more years of workplace operations experience including, leased facility management, workplace operations, and strategic planning, with at least five years of experience managing a multi-location team. Demonstrated ability to manage projects at multiple facilities at the same time.
- Industry Requirements : Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Pay and Benefits:
The target pay range for this position is $165,576 - $199,833 annually. The full pay range is $148,447 - $232,188 annually.
