We're looking for an experienced AI Solutions Architect to lead the design, governance and adoption of AI, agentic and automation solutions across the enterprise. This is an exciting opportunity to help accelerate innovation while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, ethical and aligned to enterprise standards.

You will work closely with Digital Squads, business leaders and technology teams to turn emerging AI opportunities into simple, practical and production-ready solutions that deliver measurable value. A key part of the role will be supporting AI-specific risk assessments, helping teams understand risks, options and controls in clear business language, and enabling pragmatic decisions that balance innovation, simplicity and responsible delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

- Design and govern AI, agentic and automation solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and AI ethics principles.

- Provide expert guidance on solution options, architecture decisions, trade-offs and future-state designs, with a focus on fit-for-purpose solutions that keep business value front of mind.

- Embed security, privacy, compliance and risk controls into solution architecture from day one.

- Partner with business teams and collaborate with Risk, Legal, Cyber and Governance stakeholders to support AI risk assessments, translating technical, ethical and operational risks into practical mitigations and decision-ready advice.

- Define and maintain architecture patterns, guardrails and standards that enable safe and scalable AI adoption.

- Review and assure solution designs, supporting delivery teams to maintain architectural integrity throughout implementation.

- Ensure solutions are operationally ready, resilient, supportable and cost-effective.

- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to drive business value across the organisation.

What You'll Bring

- Proven experience in solution, enterprise or technology architecture roles.

- Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, agentic systems, automation platforms and cloud technologies.

- Experience balancing innovation, governance, risk and commercial outcomes within complex environments.

- Knowledge of architecture frameworks, security principles, privacy requirements and technology governance practices.

- Ability to translate business opportunities into simple, scalable and maintainable technology solutions that are aligned to value and practical to deliver.

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.

- Excellent communication and business partnering skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic guidance, build trust and support teams through responsible AI decision-making.
