Staff Financial Analyst - SBG Finance

The Global Business Solutions Group (“GBSG”) is Intuit’s largest business unit, serving millions of customers with the QuickBooks line of products including accounting, payments, payroll, capital lending, and banking. The Small Business Group ('SBG') Finance team is critical in driving business growth and profitability through strategic, financial, and operational leadership.

Come join Intuit as part of the SBG Strategic Finance team as a Staff Financial Analyst supporting the US SMB product portfolio. You will lead executive-level analysis and reporting to own the financial narrative for SBG’s performance, lead SBG’s planning cadence in close partnership with cross-functional teams, and streamline business performance reporting to help inform SBG’s most important strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

- Financial Planning: Own SBG’s financial planning cadence, processes, and tooling (e.g., planning calendar, source-of-truth files), and support consolidation of QBO-wide inputs for trend and analytics for month-end, quarter-end, and 3&1 (strategic outlook planning) deliverables.
- Data & process improvement: Address data architecture process and system to enable improved data access, AI Skills sharing, and OpMech support; lead on key finance deliverables (business reviews, metrics, IR requests, etc.) and coordinate metrics reporting across the team.
- Executive reporting & strategic analysis: Drive executive presentation materials (Monthly Business Reviews, Consolidated Forecast Reviews, and ad hoc senior leadership updates) to help senior leaders understand key drivers of business performance and deliver data driven insights on business performance and future implications. Additionally, this role will lead trend/scenario analysis to inform key strategic decisions across SBG.
- Business partnerships: Lead business partnership across our Product Partnerships organization, supporting leadership on revenue strategies and coordinate Data Science/BizOps on ad hoc sizing support.

Qualifications

- Undergrad in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent work experience
- 6-8 years of consolidation FP&A experience or equivalent tenure in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or finance analytics
- Demonstrated experience owning planning cadences, models, or consolidated reporting across multiple business lines
- Proven track record of translating business results into an insightful, consumable story for senior leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to partner across all levels of the organization and influence stakeholders using data
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Self-starter able to initiate, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervision
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI or data-architecture tooling a plus
- Experience with Hyperion and Oracle Smartview, or any other ERP-related software
- Experience with AI tools, specifically leveraged for code review and creating and improving SQL queries.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Mountain View $154,000 - $208,500
