Technical Writer, Insurance Services

The Technical Writer partners with subject matter experts and technical teams to turn complex products, processes, and workflows into clear, accurate documentation. Source material from discussions, observations, and existing documentation is developed into instructions, guides, visual aids, and knowledge-base content for technical and non-technical audiences.

- Create, update, and curate concise instructions, guides, and visual aids that are consistent, compliant, and easy to follow
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, and incorporate accurate detail
- Edit content for adherence to standards and style guides
- Organize editorial, visual, and metadata elements so content is easier to find and use and continuously identify ways to improve
- Keep documentation current, revising from feedback and changes, so it supports operational efficiency and knowledge sharing
- Enforce standards and style guides for professional content, maintaining consistency and quality across all materials

- Proven ability to create clear process and conceptual documentation that conveys ideas and instructions
- Skilled at turning briefings, observations, and source materials into precise written procedures
- Strong editing skills, including English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency across a content set
- Experience developing and maintaining content in knowledge bases or similar content systems
- Able to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Able to learn unfamiliar products and processes quickly; familiarity with content reuse or compliance-sensitive documentation is a plus
