Internship, Technical Construction Project Manager, Energy Engineering (Winter/Spring 2027)

This position is expected to start around January or February 2027 and continue through the entire Spring term (ending approximately May 2027 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.
 
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

- Support the application of electrical and power systems knowledge to help identify solutions for large-scale utility projects
- Assist in the review of single line drawings, communication wiring diagrams, and BESS system layouts
- Assist in tracking project scope, schedules, and stakeholder updates to help keep all parties in sync
- Develop an understanding of engineering, construction, and permitting concepts and rules of conduct through hands-on project exposure
- Support cross-functional teams by contributing to discussions and helping drive innovative solutions
- Shadow and assist senior engineers in interfacing with internal stakeholders (Project Managers, Product Engineers, Sales) and external partners (utilities, AHJs, contractors, and end customers)

- Pursuing a Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or evidence of exceptional skills in related fields
- Basic understanding of design rules, constructability, permitting, utility requirements, and engineering fundamentals
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Strong work ethic with a collaborative, team-oriented personality
- Creative, passionate, and excited to contribute to a constantly evolving technology landscape
