About this role
Worley is seeking an experienced Technology Lead to join a major program of work supporting the customer’s development projects. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of technology delivery across large-scale surface and underground mining facilities while working alongside some of the industry's leading project teams.
In this role, you will lead the definition, coordination, and delivery of technology solutions across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning.
This position will initially involve a period of home-office engagement before transitioning to site-based delivery and commissioning activities. The role will operate on a FIFO roster of 2 weeks on / 1 week off, with 12-hour shifts. A day shift uplift will apply, with an additional uplift available for night shift work when required.

What you'll do
As Technology Lead, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of the technology scope across the program. Working closely with project leadership, engineering teams, delivery functions, and customer stakeholders, you will establish and drive the execution strategy for all technology-related activities.
- Leading the delivery of technology scopes across surface and underground facilities.
- Acting as the primary interface with technology stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining responsibility matrices that define delivery ownership across project phases.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Driving technology scope through conceptualisation, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensuring alignment between project teams, technology functions, and client requirements.
- Providing leadership across multiple project environments to deliver safe, efficient, and successful outcomes.
About You
We're looking for a collaborative and commercially minded leader who can successfully deliver complex technology scopes within large industrial or mining projects.
- Significant experience delivering technology, communications, or operational technology solutions within mining, infrastructure, energy, or heavy industry environments, in particular underground block cave mining environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build trusted client relationships.
- Experience managing technology scope through full project lifecycles.
- A strong understanding of multidisciplinary project delivery environments.
- Excellent coordination and leadership capabilities across diverse project teams.
- Experience working on large-scale brownfield or greenfield projects is highly regarded.
