About this role
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, required.
- Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent professional registration, preferred.
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field, desirable
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 15 years on major infrastructure. Experience in hydropower, dams and tunnel projects is desirable.
- Minimum 10 years in project management or Employer's Engineer / Owner's Engineer roles.
- Demonstrated experience administering large EPC contracts.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant or Owner's Engineer teams.
- International project experience, preferably in Southeast Asia, desirable.
- Pumped storage hydropower experience, highly desirable
- FIDIC contract frameworks and contract administration.
- Claims, variations, EOT assessments and dispute avoidance.
- Project controls, scheduling, progress measurement and reporting.
- Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Aconex or equivalent document management systems.
- Technical report writing, executive briefing and governance reporting.
- Multicultural team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- SMEC Business Management System and Project Management System requirements.
- Project governance, assurance, audit readiness and lifecycle controls.
- Project Management Plan implementation and compliance monitoring.Familiarity with software applications such as ETAP, AutoCAD, Smart Plant Electrical, CYME, PSS/E, CEDEG, Agi32, Dialux.
