Dental Assistant / Receptionist - Maven Dental Belconnen

Maven Dental Belconnen is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team for 2–3 days per week .

This is a varied role where you'll have the opportunity to support both our clinical and reception teams , making sure our patients receive a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they arrive.

Job Description

As a Dental Assistant / Receptionist, your role will include a combination of clinical and front-of-house responsibilities, including:

- Assisting our dentists and clinical team during patient appointments
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring everything is ready for patients
- Cleaning and maintaining clinical areas and equipment
- Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional service
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Booking and managing patient appointments
- Processing payments and assisting with general administration
- Supporting the wider team with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Building positive relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable during their visits

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable and genuinely enjoys working with people .

You don't necessarily need years of dental experience. We're happy to provide training for the right person who has the right attitude and is keen to learn.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous Dental Assisting and/or Reception experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A warm and approachable personality
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- A professional and positive approach to your work
- Dental experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
