About this role

Company Description

WD is building the infrastructure behind the AI-driven data economy.

As AI scales, so does data. Every interaction, every model, every system generates data that must be stored, managed, and made accessible over time. That’s where we come in.

We combine deep engineering expertise with global-scale manufacturing to deliver the storage systems that make AI possible, powering hyperscale data centers, cloud platforms, and enterprise infrastructure worldwide.

This isn’t theoretical work. It’s real systems, at real scale, people solving some of the hardest challenges in technology today.

We’re looking for people who want to build, solve, and operate at that level.

Join us and let’s shape the future of data.

Job Description

Western Digital is seeking a highly experienced Senior Executive IT Support professional to deliver white-glove, highly responsive technology support to C-Suite executives and senior leadership based in Singapore.

This is a high-visibility, relationship-driven role that demands exceptional technical depth, executive presence, sound judgment, and an unwavering commitment to discretion and service excellence. As the primary IT point of contact for assigned C-Suite executives, you will serve not only as a hands-on technical resource but as a trusted technology advisor — anticipating needs, resolving issues before they escalate, and ensuring executives can operate at their highest level without technology friction.

This role is fundamentally built on trust. Technical skill alone is not sufficient. The ability to earn, maintain, and never compromise the trust and confidence of C-Suite executives is the single most critical success factor in this position. Candidates who cannot consistently demonstrate this quality will not succeed in this role, regardless of their technical credentials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Technology Support

- Provide dedicated, white-glove IT support to C-Suite executives, resolving technology issues quickly, professionally, and with minimal disruption to their day
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact and trusted technology advisor for assigned executives — a person they can rely on completely, every time
- Establish and maintain strong executive relationships built on reliability, discretion, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through — without exception
- Proactively identify technology risks, issues, and opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance executive productivity and user experience
- Conduct yourself at all times with the professionalism, polish, and judgment expected at the C-Suite level — in person, in writing, and in every interaction

Device, Application & Collaboration Support

- Support executive laptops, desktops, mobile devices, applications, peripherals, conferencing systems, AV equipment, and collaboration technologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows and macOS environments, including advanced configuration and recovery scenarios
- Support and administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, JAMF, Microsoft Intune, and SCCM
- Provide both hands-on and remote support across corporate offices, executive home offices, and remote locations — including sites with limited or no dedicated on-site IT staff

Event & Meeting Support

- Provide on-site IT and AV support for executive meetings, presentations, Board of Directors meetings, town halls, and other high-profile business events
- Ensure technology reliability for high-stakes events with zero tolerance for failure — coordinating preparation, rehearsals, and real-time troubleshooting as needed
- Collaborate with Communications, Facilities, Security, and external AV partners to deliver seamless event experiences

Infrastructure & Data Center Support

- Provide hands-on technical support within data center environments, including hardware troubleshooting, equipment replacement, and coordination with infrastructure teams
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors for escalations requiring specialized expertise

Security, Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain strong security practices and protect confidential executive, business, and corporate information at all times — treating all executive information with the highest level of care and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of executive environments, support activities, and recurring issues
- Operate in alignment with ITIL processes and team support frameworks, including escalation and RACI models

Availability & Travel

- Maintain flexibility to provide early morning, evening, weekend, and global support coverage as business needs require
- Travel between Singapore locations and internationally to support executives and critical business operations

PROBATIONARY PERIOD

This position includes a formal initial probationary period that is taken seriously and evaluated rigorously. Given the nature of this role — direct, daily access to C-Suite executives and exposure to sensitive business information — the probationary period exists to ensure the right person is placed in one of IT's most trust-sensitive positions.

The following dimensions will be formally assessed during the probationary period:

- Technical Capability: Demonstrated ability to independently resolve executive technology issues accurately and efficiently
- Executive Trust & Confidence: Evidence that assigned executives trust you, rely on you, and feel well-served by your support
- Professionalism & Presence: Consistent conduct, communication, and appearance aligned to C-Suite expectations
- Discretion & Judgment: Zero incidents involving inappropriate handling of confidential or sensitive information
- Responsiveness: Executives receive timely, reliable responses — every time, without exception
- Proactivity: Issues are identified and addressed before they impact executive productivity
- Team Integration: Effective collaboration with global IT team members, vendors, and cross-functional partners

The executives you support are among the most senior leaders in the company. They operate in a high-pressure, high-stakes environment and have no tolerance for technology that fails them, support that is unreliable, or individuals who cannot be fully trusted. Once trust is lost with an executive, it is extremely difficult — and sometimes impossible — to recover.

Successful completion of the probationary period requires consistent performance across all dimensions above — not just technical proficiency. Candidates who demonstrate strong technical skills but fail to establish executive trust, maintain discretion, or meet the professional standards of this role will not successfully complete probation.
