Role Details

Position: School Cleaner
Location: Augustine Heights, QLD
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00am - 8:00am and/or 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Pay: From $33.85 per hour + penalties + super
Contract: Casual - No guaranteed or fixed shifts. Hours are offered based on operational requirements.

Strong performance may lead to permanent employment with the Department of Education.

What You'll Be Doing

Cleaning classrooms, offices and shared spaces
Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
Cleaning and restocking bathrooms
Following school safety, hygiene and security procedures

What You'll Need

Previous cleaning experience is highly regarded but not essential
Ability to perform physical cleaning duties
Live in or near the Ipswich area
Valid Blue Card and recent National Police Check
Ability to pass a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol screenings
