Wage: $18.00-$19.50

Shift: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

SUMMARY:

Responsible for inspecting/verifying product for adherence to customer engineering. Must be able to perform at least one primary function below. Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Outside Process Shipping Inspection - Outgoing purchase order review for accuracy and verification of Approved Supplier utilization.

- Receiving Inspection – Part/Processing Inspection and paperwork/certification verification per engineering and purchase order requirements.

- Window Frame Inspection (Receiving/Production) - Inspects products for dimensional accuracy and surface defects per engineering and specifications using required inspection tools/gages. Performs quality checks/tests on products at various stages of production.

- Raw Material Inspection/Coordination– Receives and inspects raw material and certifications to ensure purchase order and company requirements/processes are met. Ensures proper material segregation, traceability and storage. Issues raw material to work orders and ensures excess drop material is identified and received back to the material crib.

- Assembly Issuing Inspection – verifies assembly components and hardware, pulls certifications and engineering for release to production.

- Additional Job Responsibilities:

- Completes quality documentation as required.

- Identifies and handles nonconforming product per company procedures.

- Completes FAI paperwork as required.

- Office responsibilities as designated.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Forklift (Raw Material Inspection/Coordination)
