About the job

You’re part of the EA team that leads the modernization of our technology landscape to support evolving business needs. You define and guide target architectures, principles, and guardrails that enable modular, cloud-native, API- and event-driven ways of working. You also evaluate emerging technologies and assess their fit, opportunities, and risks for enterprise-wide adoption.

Working closely with senior leaders, architects, and product teams, you shape technology roadmaps and ensure initiatives align with business needs and target architecture from idea to implementation. By evaluating tools, platforms, and frameworks, setting standards, and providing architectural guidance, you enable consistent architectural practices and informed technology decisions across the organization.

Job responsibilities

- Define target architectures and architectural patterns that drive adaptability, speed and cost efficiency, and ensure that solution designs align with business needs and enterprise direction.

- Define and enforcing technology standards and architectural direction.

- Lead the development of technology roadmaps and guide pilot evaluations to validate architectural concepts and future capabilities.

- Track and communicating measurable business and technical impact.

Location and flexibility

The position is based in Stockholm or Sandviken and offers a hybrid way of working.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone who combines leadership experience with hands‑on expertise in modern enterprise architecture. You’ve successfully driven large‑scale modernization programs and worked with distributed systems, microservices, and containerized applications. You’re confident in setting standards, making architectural decisions, and mentoring teams.

Your background includes:

- Experience from Enterprise Architecture application in agile product lead IT organization.

- Experience leading technology roadmaps, piloting new tools and bringing innovations into production.

- Experience developing enterprise architectures, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives.

- Knowledge of modern technology platforms, cloud-based architectures, integrations, and distributed systems.

- Ability to connect technology investments to business value and long-term goals.

- Experience evaluating technologies, platforms, and architectural frameworks.

- Strong communication skills in English. Swedish is considered an advantage.

Success in this position comes from balancing strategic thinking with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach. Strong stakeholder management skills, clear communication, and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries help you build trust and create momentum.
