Discover the Role

We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join our Netherlands team as a Supervisor Legal, supporting a portfolio of international clients with a particular focus on Asian-owned structures serviced through the TMF Asia Desk.

In this role, you will combine technical legal expertise with client relationship management, acting as a trusted advisor on corporate governance, entity management, compliance, and corporate secretarial matters. Alongside managing your own portfolio, you will play an important role in developing team capability through coaching, mentoring, and quality review activities.

You will work closely with clients, regulators, notaries, banks, and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, helping to ensure high-quality service delivery while supporting the continued growth of the Asia Desk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional who enjoys operating in an international environment, building client relationships, and contributing to the development of others.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of legal and corporate secretarial clients, with a focus on international and Asian-owned structures.
- Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day corporate governance, entity management, and client-related matters.
- Support the incorporation, maintenance, restructuring, and liquidation of legal entities.
- Advise clients on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory filings, legal documentation, and corporate maintenance activities.
- Provide technical guidance on complex legal, governance, and compliance matters.
- Review legal and corporate secretarial work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and support less experienced team members in developing technical and client management skills.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, notaries, banks, external advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Support the Team Leader Legal in resolving complex client matters and maintaining service excellence.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal TMF requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice sharing within the team.
- Support business growth through strong client engagement and proactive relationship management.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Corporate Law, Notarial Law, Business Law, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 7-10 years of experience in corporate legal services, corporate governance, entity management, compliance, corporate secretarial, or professional services environments.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch corporate law, corporate governance principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Solid understanding of legal entity management, risk management, compliance, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting international corporate structures and cross-border clients.
- Experience working with Asian clients or Asian market structures would be considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing legal deliverables and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and support the development of colleagues.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Dutch language skills would be highly beneficial and considered a strong advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and multicultural environment.
