Business Operations Analyst

About the role:

As our supply network continues to scale, we’re looking for a Business Operations Analyst to become the analytical backbone of the Supply Performance Management organization - the person who owns our single source of truth on supply performance and turns it into decisions. This is a broad, hands-on role sitting across three areas: supply and operations planning (S&OP), network performance and recovery, and quality. You will build and own the reporting and monitoring layer that all three rely on, and then use it to answer the questions that matter - where capacity is at risk, which partners are underperforming, and whether our plans are holding up against reality. You will report to the Head of Supply Performance Management.

Your daily tasks will include:

- Build and own the central performance dashboard and metric layer covering both in-house and partner operations, and establish the metric definitions and baselines everyone works from
- Streamline the forecasting cycle: gather business inputs from commercial and operational stakeholders, challenge them, and map them into planning model inputs
- Support the planning cycle: forecast and capacity coverage reporting, plan-vs-actual tracking, and scenario analysis for capacity and demand decisions
- Support network monitoring and quality: partner scorecards, SLA reporting, root-cause analysis on misses, and capacity reviews
- Turn analysis into clear, decision-ready output: short written insights, recommendations, and updates for leadership and operational teams
- Improve data quality, coverage, and freshness so that reporting stays trusted and current as the network grows
- Support ad-hoc analysis across planning, operations, and partner performance to inform time-sensitive decisions

Your qualifications:

- Around 4 years of experience in analytics, business operations, supply chain or operations planning, consulting, or a similar data-heavy role (tech / e-commerce experience is a plus)
- Strong SQL and advanced Excel / Sheets; comfortable working with large, messy datasets and building models from scratch
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards in a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Able to define metrics from scratch - taking an ambiguous business question and turning it into a clear, defensible definition and baseline
- Clear communicator with the ability to structure information and present it to different audiences, from operational teams to senior leadership
- Solid organisational skills; able to serve several teams at once and prioritise between competing requests
- A proactive, hands-on mindset: you take ownership, unblock yourself, and follow through
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus
