Technical Product Manager — AI

ueni.com is looking for a Technical Product Manager with a strong focus on artificial intelligence to help shape and deliver technically ambitious products for our business customers.

This role is ideal for someone who can bridge product, engineering, and leadership: translating medium-level specifications into practical solutions, exploring new technologies independently, and making thoughtful decisions about how AI should be designed and deployed.

What you’ll do

- Define, prioritise, and manage AI-focused product initiatives from discovery through delivery.
- Understand AI modelling concepts and evaluate the trade-offs between local, cloud, and hybrid processing.
- Help design and assess technical workflows involving image processing, automation, data handling, and AI-powered features.
- Test experimental solutions, prototypes, and emerging tools independently.
- Assess feasibility, risks, performance, cost, scalability, and user impact.
- Challenge assumptions and push back constructively when a proposed approach is unclear, inefficient, or unlikely to deliver the desired outcome.
- Create clear product documentation, specifications, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
- Coordinate delivery across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor outcomes and use feedback, data, and experimentation to improve products over time.

Requirements

- Approximately 5–10 years of experience in product management, technical product management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of AI and machine-learning concepts, including the ability to work effectively with technical specialists.
- Experience evaluating or delivering AI-powered products, automation, image-processing workflows, or similar technical systems.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical architecture, APIs, data flows, model limitations, and deployment choices.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Comfortable working with incomplete information and turning broad requirements into actionable plans.
- A highly autonomous working style, with the curiosity to investigate and test solutions independently.
- Confidence communicating with senior leadership and engineering teams.
- Willingness to challenge ideas constructively and make evidence-based recommendations.
- You must be able to work effectively with distributed international teams and communicate fluently in English.
