Are you a second-year university student looking to kick-start your career in Finance? Join Haleon's Finance function for a 12-month industrial placement and gain hands-on experience in a global consumer healthcare company.

As part of our Finance team, you'll work on real business priorities from day one. You could be placed in a team, including Business Partnering, Tax, Group Controlling, Treasury, or other specialist Finance functions, giving you exposure to different aspects of a modern Finance organisation.

You'll analyse data, produce reports and insights, support decision-making, and collaborate with colleagues across local and global teams. Along the way, you'll develop valuable analytical, digital and AI skills while building a strong understanding of how Finance helps drive performance and growth in a global business.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll receive the support, coaching and practical experience needed to reach your full potential and build a strong foundation for your future career.

What could the role involve?

As a Finance Industrial Placement student, you'll become a valued member of the team and contribute to real business priorities from day one. *Please note there are multiple roles available *

Depending on your placement area, you'll have the opportunity to:

- Analyse financial and business data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
- Produce reports, dashboards and insights that support business decision-making.
- Gain hands-on experience using Finance to understand how a global organisation operates.
- Support forecasting, reporting, performance analysis and business planning activities.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business, building relationships and collaborating to solve problems.
- Contribute to projects that improve processes, controls and business performance.
- Use digital and AI tools to generate insights, improve efficiency and support innovation.
- Work with colleagues across local and global teams, gaining exposure to different markets and functions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, developing your communication and influencing skills.
- Build a strong understanding of how Finance helps drive performance, manage risk and create value in a leading global consumer healthcare company.

Throughout your placement, you'll receive support from experienced professionals while gaining practical experience in a dynamic and evolving Finance function.

Education Requirements :

This opportunity is open to all degree disciplines however would naturally suit those intending to pursue a career in Accounting, Finance or Audit.

If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university. You may also be eligible if you are studying for an integrated Masters. Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

Application Process:

The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:

- Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work.
- Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behaviour based online assessment and one-way video interview
- Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a final stage virtual interview; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
- Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.

Interviews will be held in November/December 2026
