Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lean Six Sigma / Business Process Optimisation Specialist to lead business process improvement initiatives within a large public-sector environment.

The successful candidate will initially focus on functions and processes within the Data & Technology team , identifying and implementing measurable and sustainable improvements. Using Lean, Six Sigma and related methodologies, they will analyse existing processes, identify efficiencies, reduce variation and improve overall process quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, quantify and prioritise business process improvement opportunities using data-driven analysis .
- Lead end-to-end business process optimisation and improvement initiatives .
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma and related process improvement methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce variation and enhance quality.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across a range of business units and functions.
- Manage and engage stakeholders at all levels throughout business process change initiatives.
- Coach and mentor personnel in process improvement methodologies and practices.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders .
- Communicate findings, recommendations and improvement opportunities in clear and practical language.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate:

- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognised body.
- 5+ years' experience leading and implementing process improvement initiatives within technology-led environments .
- A proven track record of delivering significant and quantifiable process efficiencies within a public-sector environment .
- Strong facilitation, coaching and presentation skills .
- Demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders .
