Business Analytics Analyst - Cigna Healthcare

Purpose of the Role
The Business Analytics Analyst supports reporting operations, workflow administration, process improvement, and automation activities across the IH Portfolio Insights & Enablement (PIE) team. The role is responsible for maintaining reporting assets, supporting data quality, administering SharePoint-based processes, and helping identify opportunities to streamline manual activities through workflow improvements and automation. Working closely with senior analysts, the role helps improve operational efficiency while supporting the evolution of portfolio reporting and intake capabilities.

Reporting & Operational Support

- Produce and maintain recurring portfolio and operational reports.
- Support preparation of executive reporting materials.
- Perform data validation and quality checks.
- Maintain reporting templates and supporting documentation.

Process Optimization & Workflow Support

- Support administration of SharePoint sites, lists, forms, and workflows.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve manual processes.
- Document current-state and future-state workflows.
- Assist with implementation and testing of process improvements.
- Support intake workflow enhancements and administration activities.

Automation & Power Platform Support

- Assist with maintenance and enhancement of Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Support automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
- Help test and deploy workflow and reporting enhancements.
- Maintain documentation for automation solutions.

Portfolio & Team Support

- Support portfolio inventory maintenance and reporting repositories.
- Assist with intake and reporting administration activities.
- Provide operational support across reporting, governance, and enablement activities.

Preferred Experience

- 3 - 5 years' experience in reporting, analytics, business operations, PMO support, or process improvement.
- Experience working with SharePoint.
- Exposure to Power Apps and/or Power Automate.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience documenting business processes and workflow improvements.
- Familiarity with Jira is beneficial but not required.
