Key Responsibilities
Java Development
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications, utilities, and integrations supporting the ACE platform.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application-level issues.
- Participate in design reviews, code maintenance, and performance optimization activities.
SQL & Database Management
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, migration, and reconciliation activities during user onboarding initiatives.
- Monitor database performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
DBMS Administration
- Manage and maintain relational database environments.
- Ensure database integrity, availability, security, and backup/recovery processes.
- Support database deployments, schema updates, and production issue resolution.
Website/Application Administration
- Administer and support web-based applications, including user management, access control, and configuration changes.
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders.
- Support large-scale user onboarding and migration activities into the ACE platform.
Range: $35/hr - $40/hr
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Irving, TX.
• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Work Experience
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience managing and supporting DBMS platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Web/Application Administration and user management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and production support processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data migration, data mapping, and system integration projects.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and enterprise applications.
- Exposure to Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in Java application development, SQL programming, database administration, and application support.
Primary Skill Focus: Java | SQL | DBMS | Website/Application Administration.
