Due to an exciting period of growth within our practice, we’re delighted to be recruiting for a qualified, full-time Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly and experienced team at Paisley Orthodontics .

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse who enjoys variety and would love a role combining clinical nursing with patient-facing reception responsibilities . You’ll be at the heart of the patient journey, supporting our clinicians chairside while also helping create a warm, organised and welcoming experience for patients from the moment they contact the practice.

Paisley Orthodontics is a well-established practice that has proudly served the local community for many years. Our team provides a comprehensive range of NHS and private orthodontic treatments, from traditional braces through to Invisalign, helping patients of all ages achieve confident, healthy smiles.

Conveniently located just outside Paisley town centre, the practice benefits from ample on-street parking and nearby bus links, making it easily accessible for commuters.

Your Role

This is a varied dual role where you'll work across both dental nursing and reception , playing an important part in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and providing an excellent experience for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing high-quality chairside support to our clinicians across a range of orthodontic treatments
- Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, reassuring experience from the outset
- Managing patient enquiries both in person and over the telephone
- Booking and managing appointments to support the effective use of our clinicians' diaries
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using Software of Excellence
- Preparing surgeries appropriately for each clinical session and ensuring the required equipment is available
- Anticipating the requirements of clinicians and patients to help sessions run efficiently
- Processing patient payments and supporting general practice administration
- Monitoring clinical stock and ensuring appropriate levels are maintained
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure the practice runs smoothly throughout the day
- Maintaining excellent clinical, cross-infection and health & safety standards

About You

- Must be GDC registered

- Must have experience working in Private / NHS practice
- Previous orthodontic experience is beneficial
- Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care

- The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

- Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills

- Radiography qualification preferred
