Job Description The Facilities Maintenance position will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for the Mojave CA. site, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost-effective facility performance. This role prioritizes and schedules preventive and corrective maintenance, monitors vendors, and ensures compliance with applicable safety and building standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-starter with strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills who can balance urgent needs with long-term facility care.
Specifically, the Facilities Maintenance position will:
Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance using a work-order system.
Maintain building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, structural, grounds) to required uptime and reliability targets.
Coordinate and oversee vendor and contractor work; monitor service contracts and obtain competitive bids.
Monitor and enforce safety programs and procedures; drive a safety-first culture.
Respond to and manage facility emergencies and after-hours incidents, and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Track and report maintenance KPIs (e.g., PM completion, response time, backlog, asset uptime).
Assist with budgeting, cost control, parts inventory, and procurement for maintenance activities.
Support facility projects (retrofits, small capital improvements, space moves) and ensure minimal operational disruption.
Maintain documentation, permits, and compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, local AHJ).
Collaborate with site leadership and stakeholders to align maintenance priorities with business needs.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance reliability and reduce lifecycle costs.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills 3+ Years with HS

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
