BIM Specialist

As a member of the Design Content and BIM Management team, you'll be directly and indirectly contributing to the expansion of the Tesla network across EMEA. The team's focus is fundamentally linked to the success of the whole infrastructure development in the region — defining quality standards, design tools, and information that will streamline workflows across the Architectural design teams in EMEA. Contributing to data collection from our projects to help achieve company goals, working directly with business partners to assist in creative design initiatives, connecting with external manufacturers and bringing ideas to execution. The team is central to the success and scalability of the infrastructure development expansion plan in EMEA.

- Support architectural projects in Revit/BIM across all project stages and programme typologies
- BIM project database maintenance, correction, update, and audit
- Company-specific Revit families library technical development, maintenance, and update
- Design and Revit modelling of products, equipment, and specific programme requirements
- Digital Revit/BIM standards development for prototypical facilities
- Continuous update of BIM model project information and templates
- Assure technical support to Revit/BIM internal and external collaborators
- Assure training and onboarding of new and existing design team members on Revit/BIM information and usage
- Implement innovation and improvement initiatives, assess results, and provide feedback and guidance
- Maintain and update specifications libraries for cross-functional organisational use
- Development and updating of Tesla standards graphic guidelines packages for cross-functional use
- Support creative design initiatives, new product launches, updates, and other ad hoc business opportunity requirements
- Update the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and supporting documentation
- Maintain and update internal Geo/Global development tools

- Architectural and BIM coordinator background is ideal, or relevant BIM field experience, ideally including large family library management (minimum 2–3 years)
- Project experience in BIM coordination using Autodesk Revit (advanced proficiency) and BIM interoperability tools such as DiRoots and pyRevit, via BIM360 or Forma
- Data environment and coordination platforms (BIM360, Forma, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint)
- Visual Programming – Dynamo (desirable)
- AutoCAD 2D (desirable)
- Comfortable working with multiple teams across multiple projects; a strong team player who is also capable of working independently
- Meticulous attention to detail and adept at managing multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- Willingness to assist teams with both simple problems and more advanced enquiries and needs
- Interest in innovative tools (Autodesk Assistant, AI agents) is desirable
