About the role

- Reporting To Employee Experience Services Lead - APMEA & Europe
The Centre Employee Experience Services (EXS) Lead is accountable for the day-to-day service delivery and performance of Employee Experience Services in the Global Business Services Centre for APMEA & Europe. The EXS Lead is responsible for leading the EXS team in the centre, and for partnering across the business to ensure integration with and alignment to the global HR vision and strategy. Your remit will be to drive the simplification, optimisation, standardisation and continuous improvement of defined Employee Experience processes, in order to create more transparency and global consistency across both GBS centres (other centre is based in Mexico, supporting the Americas). You will leverage technologies, to drive service optimisation, keeping Employee Experience front of mind, while building an engaged & skilled team of specialists who deliver solutions and services at scale in accordance with Global HR standards and customer centric mindset.

Key Individual Accountabilities
Strategy and Performance
- Manage headcount, budgets and long-term projections for the Employee Experience team, driving year-on-year efficiency, understanding cost drivers, maximising incentives and providing end-to-end cost visibility to Global and Centre Leadership.
- Represent GBS EXS at relevant regional and functional governance forums, reviewing performance against agreed targets and identifying opportunities to improve services and enhance value.
Service Delivery
- Own day-to-day service delivery and performance across agreed HR services in the Centre, including Employee and Manager Support Services, Rewards, Benefits and Mobility, Payroll and Compliance. Ensure seamless delivery and adherence to risk and controls.
- Ensure delivery meets Service Performance Agreements, including KPIs, service catalogue, governance and performance standards set by the Global Employee Experience Services Lead. Ensure timely issue resolution, manage regional escalations and maintain close contact with Global Functional Services Leads on service delivery, processes, risk and controls.
- Drive integration, stabilisation and ongoing engagement within the Centre in line with GBS ambition. Provide local leadership to delivery teams, driving talent management, team engagement, performance and reward reviews, succession planning and career development.
- Partner with the function and region to support talent attraction, retention and pipeline. Build strong relationships with Regional Functional teams and Centre stakeholders to deliver best-in-class HR services and employee experience, influence stakeholders and proactively address service issues.
Process Optimisation and Service Evolution
- Drive process improvement, standardisation and global alignment across relevant HR services. Identify and share best practices and Continuous Improvement opportunities with the Global Employee Experience Services Lead, counterpart Centre EXS Lead and Global Solution and Experience Leads (GPOs), driving process simplification and improved employee experience.
- Stay informed of industry, regulatory and technology trends and prepare the function to respond effectively to a changing business environment. Drive human-centred design methodologies, including ourVoice and engagement approaches, to continuously improve and measure employee experience.
Key Shared Accountabilities
- Act as a key interface between the Global EXS Lead, Centre and country HR teams. Partner with the Global EXS Lead to apply EXS best practices, identify end-to-end process improvement opportunities and drive improved employee experience, governance, simplification and global consistency across both Centres.
- Partner with Group HR on talent models, reward and recognition, career development and programmes supporting an integrated Kerry GBS culture focused on employee experience.
- Partner with the KL Centre Head to monitor resource levels and business needs. Collaborate with the counterpart Centre EXS Lead and Global EXS Lead on future regional GBS strategy and services, ensuring seamless service provision and alignment with the broader HR function.
- Build strong relationships with Global Solution and Experience Leads (GPOs) to ensure global consistency, effective integration and service performance.
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with an appropriate professional HR qualification such as CIPD, AHRI/CPHR, IHRP-CP/IHRP-SP, or equivalent APAC-recognised HR certification.
- GPHR or equivalent global HR certification is preferred.
- Experienced professional with minimum of 15 years exposure in People / HR environment in a regional senior management position - experience working in a Shared Services environment, within a matrixed environment is essential.
- Deep HR process knowledge and experience to manage complex escalations and decision-making
- Strong HR operational experience of running medium to large regional operations
- Experience of leading geographically dispersed teams and providing service to geographically dispersed customers
- Demonstrated influencing skills and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Successful customer service track record or a customer experience background with the ability to foster a customer service focused working environment with proven customer service and relationship management
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of Continuous Improvement with experience of leading agile team, providing continuous iterative improvements and project solutions
- Ability to tolerate uncertainty and ambiguity, bringing structure and maintaining effectiveness during high-pressure times
