Anglicare is looking for an experienced Clinical Educator to build the skills, confidence and capability of our nursing and care teams across Seniors Communities. This is an opportunity to extend your impact beyond direct care by developing clinical capability across our workforce and helping our teams deliver exceptional care to older Australians.
Your opportunity
As a Clinical Educator, you will develop and deliver engaging, evidence-based clinical education, competency training and coaching that strengthens clinical practice and supports safe, high-quality care. Working closely with clinical leaders and Workplace Trainers, you’ll support induction, identify learning needs, embed new clinical practices and ensure education aligns with aged care standards, accreditation requirements and best practice.
With integrity and resilience, you will:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based clinical training and competency assessments.
- Support induction, coaching and implementation of clinical policies and best practice.
- Ensure education aligns with aged care standards, compliance, and accreditation requirements.
- Partner with clinical leaders to identify learning needs and strengthen workforce capability.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote a culture of safety, learning, and clinical excellence.
What you’ll bring
You are an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about developing others and improving the quality of clinical practice. You can engage adult learners, build strong relationships across different stakeholder groups, and translate complex clinical requirements into practical and meaningful education.
What’s required:
- Current Registered Nurse registration (AHPRA) with at least 5 years’ recent clinical experience in aged care or health
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Proven experience delivering engaging clinical education and competency-based training.
- Strong knowledge of aged care standards, accreditation, and clinical best practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a passion for developing people and improving clinical capability
