What this job involves:

As a Corporate Receptionist at JLL, you'll be the face of our workplace — creating exceptional first impressions and delivering outstanding front-of-house and meeting & event services for clients, visitors, and colleagues alike. This is a role for someone who is genuinely customer-obsessed, detail-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile corporate environment. From welcoming visitors to managing meeting spaces and supporting the wider facilities team, you'll play a key role in shaping the everyday workplace experience and representing JLL's culture of excellence at every touchpoint.

What your day-to-day will look like:

- Welcome and direct visitors, candidates, and new hires, managing front-of-house services including sign-in, badging, luggage assistance, lost and found, and delivery coordination

- Handle incoming calls, emails, and queries through front-of-house channels, personalising interactions based on onsite events and visitor needs

- Maintain the highest standards of presentation across reception and meeting areas, including physical setup of meeting and event spaces in line with team guidelines

- Monitor meeting room environments — furniture, signage, AV equipment, temperature, and consumables — ensuring everything is always guest-ready

- Manage room booking systems across Outlook, conference room finder, and SharePoint, keeping displays and calendars up to date

- Liaise with security and janitorial teams to coordinate meetings and events seamlessly

- Support the wider facilities team with trouble tickets, mail and courier services, site inspections, space audits, and general administrative tasks

Required Qualifications:

- Experience in reception, concierge, or a related customer-facing role

- Previous experience in a high-profile corporate environment

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills — written and verbal — in both English
- German mother tongue; excellent English skills (spoken and written); elementary French

- Strong PC literacy with confidence using technology systems to manage daily activities

- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage professionally at all organisational levels

- High attention to detail and ability to maintain composure and professionalism at all times
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint) and Copilot; adaptable; comfortable working in a cross‑functional environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in catering, hospitality, or workplace services

- Experience with meeting and event coordination in corporate settings

- Familiarity with SharePoint, Outlook calendar management, and conference room booking platforms

- Knowledge of security procedures and emergency/evacuation protocols

- Experience supporting space audits or workplace optimisation initiatives

- Awareness of local area services (transport, restaurants, hotels) to assist visitors as needed
- A background in business/commerce is an advantage
