Tube Bender (Swing Shift)

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Tube Bender to support production operations here in Fremont, CA.

The Tube Bender is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining tube bending equipment to manufacture high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and production schedules. This position ensures parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and safely while meeting quality and productivity standards.

Temporary Assignment: Temp-to-Hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

Swing Shift - Monday through Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Shift Differential – 10%

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of tube bending, metal fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC tube bending equipment is highly desirable.
- Medical device, aerospace, or precision manufacturing experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of tube bending processes, tooling, and materials.
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues.
- Basic computer skills and experience with manufacturing software systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.

Preferred Qualifications

- CNC tube bending setup and programming experience.
- Experience with stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, or specialty alloys.
- Forklift certification.
- Lean Manufacturing and 5S experience.

For candidates in California: The pay range for this position is $24.09 - $40.96 per hour. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
