Summary:
The Summer College Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of our company. Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer. Through the internship program, our interns can attend development workshops that are focused on key business concepts. Interns may work within the skills-based tracks of Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non-technical and/or technical based degree programs.
- This is a paid 10-week summer internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August (up to 40 hours per week).
- Interns may reside in either a technical or non-technical area.
- Development workshops are provided to help with the transition from school to the corporate environment.
- Housing is not provided as part of our program.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Specific duties will vary by assignment; specific divisional callouts are listed below.
- The ERP Strategy & Optimization Intern would work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to support strategic initiatives designed to improve enterprise processes and system performance. The intern would gain exposure to end-to-end ERP operations while contributing meaningful deliverables that support ongoing transformation efforts.
- Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Participate in ERP strategy, project planning, and stakeholder meetings to understand business objectives and system enhancement priorities.
- Document current-state business processes and assist in mapping future-state workflows to identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Support requirements gathering sessions by documenting stakeholder feedback, business needs, and system enhancement requests.
- Assist with maintaining project documentation, process flows, user guides, and change management materials.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate project status, key findings, and recommendations to business leaders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand ERP impacts across Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Operations, and other business functions.
- Support testing activities by documenting test scenarios, executing test scripts, and tracking defects or issues.
- To maximize ERP investment value, the intern would evaluate user adoption and identify opportunities to improve engagement and training by participating in change management activities.
- Works with a mentor and supports key strategic projects.
- Completes work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.
- Performs a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks that will cover a broad range of business-related projects.
- Creates and delivers presentations at completion of internship.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Desired Majors/Degree Programs Include: Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business & Management or similar program(s)
- Preferred (but not required) experience with: Communication and collaboration, Microsoft skills, Planning/Strategy, Soft people skills, etc.
- High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and interface with staff at all levels of the company.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail changing environment and deliver high-quality work product.
- Ability to work well in a team establishing good working relationships with peers.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Proactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility in completing assigned tasks.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as on intra- and inter- departmental teams as needed.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training courses as needed.

Compensation Range(s):
Level I - Minimum $18.00 - Maximum $20.00
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
