Custom Agri Systems is a family-owned and operated company specializing in grain handling equipment, agricultural construction, and service. We're looking for a motivated Agricultural Equipment Sales & Estimator to join our team in West Fargo, ND.

This is a full-time career opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, understanding equipment, and being involved from the initial conversation through project completion.

You'll work with both farm and commercial customers , developing relationships, assessing projects, preparing quotes, and helping customers find the right equipment and solutions for their operation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Meet with new and existing farm and commercial customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Understand customer needs and provide practical equipment solutions
- Learn grain handling equipment and grain dryer operations
- Assess customer jobsites and determine project needs
- Prepare project quotes and invoices
- Sell new and used agricultural and grain handling equipment
- Follow up with customers and leads by phone and in person
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and explain equipment features and benefits
- Order materials and coordinate project needs
- Apply the appropriate discount structure to quotes and projects
- Maintain accurate customer and project information
- Communicate with customers, vendors, field employees, and other departments
- Work with the team to make sure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the customer's expectations
- Help troubleshoot equipment and project issues
- Take ownership of projects from the initial customer conversation through completion

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who is:

- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong at building relationships and communicating with customers
- Mechanically inclined and interested in learning grain handling equipment
- Comfortable assessing jobsites and determining project needs
- Able to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects and customer needs
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Strong in both written and verbal communication
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Comfortable working with customers, vendors, and employees
- Willing to learn and develop new skills

Experience in agriculture, grain handling, agricultural equipment, construction, estimating, or outside sales is a plus.

WHAT THE JOB IS REALLY LIKE

This position isn't just sitting behind a desk making sales calls.

You'll spend time meeting customers, visiting jobsites, evaluating projects, working with equipment, preparing estimates, and coordinating with the people who make the project happen.

You'll need to be comfortable getting out in the field, talking with customers, climbing and walking around jobsites, and understanding how equipment and projects come together.

The position regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, and crouching.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required depending on customer and project needs.
