As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.
Over the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to: Determine and document the modification of products being processed for repair or overhaul to verify compliance to the applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
What you’ll do :
- Create Shop Aids for Engine Maintenance procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement projects with engineers on Waterjet, Liburdi Welder, Plasma Systems and Vacuum Furnace repair processes
- Complete assigned projects related to the Engineering group/discipline
- Review and/or create drawings and sketches of tools and fixtures
- Perform engineering calculations, analyses, development of drawings and specifications
- Assist with Tooling-related projects (e.g. New Tooling Fabrication, Tooling validation)
- Assist in repair process audits to ensure compliance to company processes and standards
- Other assigned duties
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- CAD Software (AutoCAD or equivalent)
