You will report to the Guest Service Manager, Guest Health.

Schedule Requirements: This part-time role requires weekly availability on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday . The schedule includes three paid 8-hour shifts per week. Workdays will be determined during schedule preferencing; shift times will be assigned separately. Candidates should plan to work weekends and holidays.

You Will/Responsibilities:

As a Paramedic with 3+ years of experience, you will assess Guest needs, listen carefully, provide first aid, take vital signs, and escalate advanced care to a Registered Nurse. You will also support clinical and administrative tasks, including assisting with minor and urgent care treatment, coordinating transport, storing medications and medical equipment, completing checklists, stocking supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment.

You will uphold high standards for quality, confidentiality, and accurate documentation in every patient interaction.

You will join a team committed to helping keep Guests safe while they enjoy their visit.

On any given day, you might:

- Welcome our Guests with a positive, friendly, helpful attitude who present with a medical question or need
- Perform and provide intervention and first aid services within your scope of practice as a Paramedic
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses to escalate assessments and support treatment plans for Guests needing additional care
- Administer Basic Life Support (including use of AED) when indicated
- Assist with the arrangements for Guests
- Complete daily checklist, maintain and stock treatment areas, perform inventory and ordering supply tasks
- Maintain a clean work area and follow disinfecting protocols
- Document and maintain accurate, detailed records related to interactions and treatment provided
- Quality check work daily to catch any errors or omissions

You Will Have/Qualifications

Here is what you need to be successful in the job:

- 3+ years as a Paramedic
- Current BLS Certification
- State of Florida Paramedic Certification
- Valid Florida Driver’s License

- Compassionate, genuine bedside manner with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and Guest service

- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time, walk, lift, squat, push, pull and/or carry heavy objects up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent hearing and ability to see, and full use of hands for patient assessment and to control, handle or feel objects and tools
- Sharp time management skills
- Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
- Scrupulously protect patient confidentiality
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as well as occasional overtime
- Basic computer programs and ability to work with a laptop/desktop

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in fast-paced environments
- Ability to speak additional languages, i.e. Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
- National Paramedic Certification
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree

Education

- High School or GED - required
The hiring range for this position in Lake Buena Vista, FL is $26.60 - $33.25 hourly base pay. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
