The Machine Operator 1 independently operates SMT, Wave, Conformal Coating, or related 
equipment following standard procedures. This role focuses on reliable machine operation, routine issue resolution, and maintaining machine output and quality
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: 
• Operate SMT, Wave, Conformal Coating, or related equipment following standard procedures to meet 
production requirements.
• Perform basic machine functions independently to maintain consistent output and quality.
• Resolve routine operational issues to minimize downtime and production disruption.
• Communicate operational issues clearly to team members and the Team Leader.
• Provide input on day-to-day machine operations to support workflow efficiency.
• Perform basic machine maintenance tasks to support reliable operation.
• Minimize waste during machine operation to protect materials and production efficiency.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Education and Required Experience
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience operating equipment such as SMT, Wave, or Conformal Coating.
Skills Required
• Working knowledge of machine operation and production processes.
• Basic machine operational knowledge and ability to escalate issues appropriately.
• Understanding of standard procedures and quality requirements.

PHYSICAL AND/OR MENTAL DEMANDS 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel office 
equipment, objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally 
stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds. 
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and identification, peripheral vision, depth perception, and 
the ability to adjust focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS 
The working environment is generally clean; however, this position may be exposed to occasional dust, metals/solder occasional 
exposure to high noise levels from operating machines or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. The employee 
must wear designated PPE and/or electrostatic dissipative protection where required. Otherwise, attire consistent with the site specific guidelines is appropriate.
