zł84,000.00 - zł124,800.00

Shell Trading & Supply (T&S) has a global portfolio of crude oil, refined products, LNG, chemicals, natural gas, electrical power and CO2. Trading offices are located in the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, The Netherlands, Japan, Bahamas, Dubai and Russia, with many other downstream entities situated across the globe. Reporting to the Enhanced Monitoring and Sanctions Screening Team Lead, the FC Screening Analyst is part of the Financial Crime Operations team.
The team undertakes Counterparty Screening, assessing potentially adverse information that may impact business decisions involving a counterparty.
The responsibilities of the FC Screening Analyst include performing the screening activity assigned daily, escalating cases as required and contributing to management reporting through the maintenance of records of the aforementioned.
What you’ll be doing
You will be accountable for the following:
- Responsible for reviewing and assessing overnight screening and enhanced monitoring alerts.
- Ensure that assessment of assigned alerts is performed to specified quality standards and within agreed timescales.
- Undertake desktop research using a combination of publicly available and commercially licensed IT tools and data sources.
- Collate and analyze the results of searches in a specified manner and retain evidence as required.
- Contribute to and participate in specific projects when required.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Maintain records of daily screening activity for periodic Management Reporting
- Participate in monthly Quality Control activities as requested by the Team Lead / Senior Analyst
- Support the periodic review of process manuals to ensure these are up-to-date and fit-for-purpose
What you bring
We are keen to hear from candidates with the following:
- Education to degree level or above, or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies and processes, including understanding of high-risk jurisdictions, global sanctions requirements, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and complex corporate structures such as SPVs, Trusts, and Funds, including identification of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).
- Professional experience (2+ years) in a screening, financial crime, or compliance-related role within a Tier 1 Financial Institution (Wholesale, Commercial/Corporate, or Investment Banking) and/or a large Commodities or Trading House (Oil, Energy) is desirable.
- Professional AML or Financial Crime certification from an accredited body, such as the International Compliance Association (ICA), Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), or equivalent, is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and assess conflicting information from multiple sources, applying a risk-based approach with a high degree of curiosity, sound judgement, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines, and collaborate successfully across teams while maintaining a strong customer focus.
- Knowledge of additional languages, such as Arabic, Spanish, or Mandarin, is desirable.
