As an AVP Driver, you'll use your own personal vehicle (sedan, SUV, minivan, or small crossover) to deliver FedEx packages on an assigned route. This is a great fit for someone who wants steady, predictable work without needing a commercial vehicle or CDL.

Duties:

- ∙ Safely operate your personal vehicle to deliver packages across designated routes, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards.
- ∙ Load and unload parcels, ensuring proper handling and secure placement during transit.
- ∙ Use mobile devices and GPS technology to navigate routes efficiently and communicate with dispatch teams.
- ∙ Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- ∙ Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including weight handling in the workplace and safe lifting practices.
- ∙ Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- ∙ Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports as required by company policies.

Requirements:

- ∙ Valid driver's license (state-issued, in good standing)
- ∙ Reliable personal vehicle in good working condition (sedan, SUV, minivan, or crossover — no two-door coupes or vehicles under 35 cubic feet of cargo space)- Current vehicle registration and personal auto insurance meeting state minimum liability requirements
- ∙ Clean driving record (no major violations in the past [3] years)
- ∙ Must be at least 21 years old
- ∙ Ability to lift and carry packages up to [50] lbs repeatedly throughout a shift- Ready to work weekend shifts
- ∙ Ability to pass a background check
- ∙ Strong sense of direction and comfort using GPS navigation
- ∙ Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
- ∙ Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- ∙ Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards.

Compensation & Benefits:

- ∙ Pay: $2.00–$2.50 per stop , based on experience and route performance
- ∙ Routes typically average 50+ stops per day
- ∙ Weekly pay- Flexible scheduling option- Opportunity for route growth and additional shifts
- ∙ Supportive team environment with ongoing safety training
- ∙ *Example: At 50 stops/day, expect approximately $100–$125/day. You should be averaging 20 to 25 stops per hour easily. Higher-volume routes and experienced drivers can earn more.
