About this role
Would you like to bring your HR expertise to an organisation where business, sustainability, and social impact go hand in hand? Do you thrive in a broad HR role where you combine hands-on HR work with strategic people initiatives? Swedfund is seeking an experienced, confident, and driven Senior HR Business Partner to join its HR team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping people, leadership, and organisational development.
About the role
As Senior HR Business Partner at Swedfund, you will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to managers and leaders across the organisation. Working across the full HR agenda, you will combine business-focused HR support with people and organisational development initiatives, including learning and development, leadership development, organisational effectiveness, and employee experience. The role offers a high degree of responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues at all offices.
The position is based in Stockholm and reports to the Chief HR and Administration Officer. Occasional travel within the Nordics and Europe, as well as to Swedfund’s regional offices, may be required.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide HR support and guidance to managers and key stakeholders across all Swedfund offices on operational and strategic HR matters.
- Drive the development, continuous improvement, and digitalisation of HR processes, practices, and systems.
- Drive and develop Learning & Development initiatives that strengthen leadership, employee growth, and organisational effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain the organisation’s work environment, health and safety initiatives.
- Manage union collaboration and participate in negotiations with local employee representatives.
- Advise and support managers on employee relations, organisational development, and labour law matters.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have several years of experience in a senior HR role, such as Senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager, preferably gained in an international environment. You are comfortable supporting and challenging managers in both operational and strategic HR matters and enjoy taking ownership of your area of responsibility.
You have solid knowledge of Swedish labour law and hands-on experience in work environment management, employee relations, trade union collaboration, and negotiations. Experience within Learning & Development, as well as driving HR process improvements and digitalisation initiatives, is considered a strong advantage.
You have excellent written and spoken English skills, and knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
Personal characteristics:
- You are a confident HR professional with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organisation.
- You combine a clear and professional approach with strong listening skills and sound judgement.
- You are self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- You combine a pragmatic mindset with a high standard of quality and are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- You are business-minded, with the confidence and courage to challenge the organisation constructively and drive change when needed.
