As a Senior Tax Research Specialist, you'll help transform evolving tax regulations into industry-leading software solutions used by tax professionals nationwide. Some of the things you will be doing:

- Analyze federal and state tax law changes and translate them into software requirements
- Partner with developers to ensure tax calculations remain accurate, compliant, and user-friendly
- Validate tax return calculations and functionality through testing and quality review
- Create technical documentation that supports software design, compliance, and client understanding
- Contribute to strategic projects that enhance tax software solutions and customer experience
- Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams and end users

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of corporate or pass-through tax compliance, tax technology, and Corptax experience
- CPA, Master's degree, or tax software industry experience
- Experience leveraging AI-driven tools (e.g., generative AI, tax research platforms with AI capabilities, data analytics tools) to enhance tax research, technical analysis, and workflow efficiency
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- Interest in leveraging technology to solve complex tax challenges
- Flexibility to support critical filing season deadlines and business priorities

** Compensation is based on several factors, including location, skills, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this position is $98,880.92 to $109, 729.11.
