Integrations Analyst

The largest and most impactful transformation in our 100+ year history is currently underway at New Balance. General Summary:

As a Configuration Analyst for integrations, you will build, configure, and maintain EDI and non-EDI integration solutions on the Partner LINQ platform, contributing to New Balance’s global digital transformation. You will play a central role in migrating legacy IBM Sterling EDI and Cleo Harmony MFT integrations onto Partner LINQ — configuring mappings, orchestration flows, and business rules — helping drive New Balance to be a Top 3 Global Athletic Brand through responsive, standardized integration workflows that support consistent business growth, expand market share, and strengthen brand equity and reputation

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILTIES:

- Create and configure mappings, process/orchestration flows, business rules, cross-reference schemas, and lookups within the PartnerLinQ Design Studio to meet business requirements.

- Convert existing IBM Sterling maps and Cleo MFT flows to PartnerLinQ, leveraging AI Mapping Agent / template-based tooling to standardize and optimize designs for reuse.

- Perform unit testing on all integrations, coordinate with end-system teams, and support SIT and UAT cycles, producing test result reports against production sample files.

- Manage controlled promotion of tested configurations (mappings, alerts, dashboards, partnerships) from lower to production environments, validating dependencies and completeness before migration.

- Support white-glove partner onboarding: gather EDI specifications, IDs, and connection details; build mapping templates; run connection and business-rule testing.

- Support production deployments and provide post-go-live hypercare, troubleshooting transaction and mapping issues and creating SOPs / runbooks.

- Follow approved integration governance patterns, intake, documentation standards, and SLA checkpoints for all net-new and migrated integrations.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3 to 5 years of Hands-on experience configuring EDI/B2B integrations, ideally on PartnerLinQ or a comparable platform (IBM Sterling, Cleo), preferred.

- Working knowledge of EDI standards — X12, EDIFACT/EANCOM — and common transaction sets (850, 855, 856, 810, 820, 846)

- Mapping to/from canonical and flat-file formats

- Data transformation using XML, JSON, flat files, and XSLT

- Target systems such as D365 F&O, SAP, SQL

- Transport protocols — AS2, SFTP, API/VAN

- PartnerLinQ Business Rule Engine, Cross Reference Schema, and Artifacts Migration (plus)

- Azure Integration Services (AIS) exposure (plus)

- Git / Azure DevOps (plus)

- Sterling→PLQ or Cleo→PLQ/AIS migration experience (nice to have)

- Solid analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills; ability to translate business requirements into detailed configurations. Good communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
