Key Responsibilities
- Providing reliable support in the preparation of high-quality desserts, pastries, tartlets, pralines and display items for our various outlets
- Independently preparing the daily work area in accordance with Kempinski quality standards.
- Ensuring that our sweet creations are always presented flawlessly and taste excellent.
- Strict adherence to and implementation of HACCP guidelines as well as health and safety regulations.
- Close collaboration with the Head Pâtissier and the kitchen team to optimise workflows.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A completed apprenticeship as a chef or pastry chef, as well as initial professional experience in upmarket catering
- Professional expertise, creativity and attention to detail, as well as a very strong commitment to quality
- A structured and organised approach to work
- A keen interest in team-based work
- Very good English is essential; any additional languages, e.g. Italian or German, are an advantage
