The Opportunity:

Assemble and fabricate electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. Maintain operations of mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools and electronic tooling. Applies specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, and reviews or guides activities of junior employees.

You Have:

- 2+ years of experience as an engineering technician
- Knowledge of shop safety and proper usage of basic hand tools, powered hand tools, pneumatic hand tools, and basic inspection tools
- Ability to support munition assemblies including disassembly, reassembly, and developing and updating technical data to effectively restore equipment to operational readiness
- Ability to plan, conduct, and report on system testing
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

- Experience in prototyping and electrical systems
- Ability to work in a complex team environment
- Secret clearance
- Associate’s degree in engineering or a related science field
- Completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments or ordnance, or engineering technology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
