Senior Business Development Leader – Cyber Focus

SAIC is searching for an experienced Senior Business Development Leader to drive growth in support of U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), 16th Air Force and other Service level cyber organizations, and Agency-level cyber entities such as DISA, . This high-impact leadership role is part of SAIC's Air Force, Space, and Intelligence (AFSI) Business Group (BG) and focuses on delivering mission-aligned, cutting-edge cyber solutions across the Defense Agencies and Joint Missions (DAJM) Account.

In this role, you will directly contribute to advancing cyber-focused programs vital to national security while leveraging SAIC's comprehensive capabilities to address the most complex challenges facing USCYBERCOM, Air Force cyber organizations, and Agency-level cyber entities across the defense enterprise.

As a Senior Business Development Leader with deep cyber domain expertise, you will play a transformative role in cultivating new opportunities, managing a robust pipeline, and fostering deep relationships with USCYBERCOM, 16th Air Force, DISA and other Agency-level cyber entities, and other organizations within the DAJM Account. This is a senior leadership position that allows you to shape the future of defense cyber solutions and strategy while driving SAIC's growth objectives across the Services, Agencies, and Combatant Commands.

How You'll Make an Impact

- Strategic Cyber Growth Leader: Develop and execute a cyber-focused growth strategy tailored to USCYBERCOM, Air Force cyber organizations, and Agency-level cyber entities, as well as the broader DAJM portfolio, connecting emerging cyber domain challenges to mission-driven solutions across the defense enterprise.
- Trusted Cyber Community Partner: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior cyber leadership at USCYBERCOM, Air Force cyber organizations, and Agency-level cyber entities to position SAIC as the premier partner for innovative, mission-aligned cyber solutions that address the full spectrum of customer needs.
- Pipeline Development: Drive the identification, qualification, and management of a robust pipeline of cyber-focused opportunities supporting USCYBERCOM, Air Force cyber organizations, Agency-level cyber entities, and the broader DAJM portfolio, ensuring alignment with SAIC's vision, technical depth, and cyber domain expertise.

As a senior-level business development professional, you will:

- Identify and pursue cyber-focused opportunities aligned with the strategic needs of the DAJM portfolio agencies, including USCYBERCOM, 16th Air Force, DISA, OSW, and the Joint Staff.
- Leverage deep knowledge of key cyber disciplines — including Zero Trust architecture, Identity and Access Management (IAM/PAM), SOC/SIEM/SOAR operations, endpoint security, cloud security, and vulnerability management — to shape innovative, mission-aligned cyber solutions across the DAJM portfolio.
- Apply expertise in cyber threat intelligence to inform opportunity strategy and help customers anticipate and respond to evolving adversarial threats across the DAJM enterprise.
- Build and leverage trusted relationships with cyber leaders and key decision-makers across the Services, Agencies, and Combatant Commands to position SAIC as a valued partner for mission-critical cyber outcomes.
- Guide SAIC's approach to opportunity identification, competitive assessments, and price-to-win strategies, ensuring alignment with DAJM portfolio cyber priorities and unique customer challenges.
- Oversee the development of proposal strategies and win themes tailored to the specific cyber needs of DAJM portfolio accounts.
- Serve as a key participant in senior-level reviews, strategic planning sessions, and customer engagement efforts, delivering actionable cyber-informed recommendations and insights.
- Connect cyber domain challenges to broader mission-focused solutions, bridging the gap between technical cybersecurity requirements and enterprise mission outcomes across the DAJM portfolio.

We are seeking a results-oriented, innovative, and collaborative leader with a proven track record of business development success in the cyber domain. Candidates should demonstrate the following:

- Hands-on knowledge of key cybersecurity disciplines including Zero Trust, Identity Management, IAM/PAM, SOC/SIEM/SOAR, endpoint security, cloud security, vulnerability management, and cyber threat intelligence, with the ability to translate technical depth into compelling customer solutions.
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks, Risk Management Framework (RMF), FISMA, FedRAMP, CMMC/NIST 800-171, and DFARS cybersecurity requirements, enabling credible engagement with both technical and acquisition-focused customer stakeholders.
- Active relationships and a strong professional reputation within the cyber community at the Service, Agency, and Combatant Command level, with the ability to engage senior leaders and influence program direction.
- Deep Expertise and Proven Leadership in USCYBERCOM, 16th Air Force, or Agency (DISA) Cyber Organizations Comprehensive understanding of the missions, structures, acquisition strategies, and cyber program priorities of USCYBERCOM, Air Force cyber organizations, and/or Agency-level cyber entities, with substantial experience shaping cyber solutions that address their most complex operational and technical challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and grow large-scale business opportunities in defense cyber solutions, IT modernization, and secure communications markets.
- Experience connecting cyber domain challenges to broader mission-focused solutions — translating complex cyber requirements into enterprise-level outcomes that resonate with operational and senior leadership audiences.
- A proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop strong customer and industry relationships in a fast-paced, opportunity-driven environment.
- A bachelor's degree and 15 years' experience is required, with substantial experience in defense-focused business development and cyber solutions. Advanced degrees, relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM), or equivalent industry expertise are highly valued; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI preferred or ability to upgrade.
