Responsibilities

- Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies for success.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- NBCOT certification preferred.
- Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.
