Responsibilities

- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
- Guide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve independence.
- Observe and report patient progress to the Occupational Therapist.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
- Support interdisciplinary care planning and treatment goals.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
- New graduates welcome to apply.
- Experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.
