Overview
The Manager, Install Quality is responsible for driving installation quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across Sunrun’s installation organization. This role leads the Central Install Quality Review team, serves as a key escalation point for field leadership, and partners cross-functionally to identify and eliminate recurring quality issues.
The Manager owns the relationship between License Holders and the Install Quality team while leading process improvements, FIC app and AI enhancements, Channel Partner construction reviews, and quality-focused training initiatives.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Quality Management
- Lead the Central Install Quality Review team, including coaching, development, performance management, and quality standards.
- Monitor quality performance and trends to identify gaps and drive corrective action.
- Serve as the escalation point for Managers and Directors on complex or recurring field quality issues.
Quality Process & Continuous Improvement
- Own and continuously improve the installation quality review process.
- Identify root causes of frequent installation failures and develop solutions to reduce repeat issues.
- Partner with Field Operations, Training, Technology, and other teams on quality improvement initiatives.
Technology & FIC Enhancements
- Lead quality-related enhancements to the FIC app, including AI and technology opportunities that improve review accuracy, efficiency, and field feedback.
- Partner with Technology teams to develop and implement new quality tools and processes.
Training & New Crew Quality
- Partner with the Installation Training team to build a training program focused on the most frequent installation quality failures.
- Develop a new FIC-based quality review process for new Foremen and installation crews to provide early feedback and support.
Channel Partners & License Holders
- Own Channel Partner construction quality reviews and drive corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Own the relationship between License Holders and the Install Quality team, ensuring clear expectations, communication, and accountability.
- Provide leadership visibility into quality trends
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), plus a minimum of 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of internal Sunrun experience, with proven performance at a Team Lead level
- Strong analytical problem-solving, process mapping, and performance management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) reporting, Excel, and G-Suite.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Physical Demands
- Ability to perform standard office duties, operate computer equipment, and participate in virtual/in-person meetings.
- Ability to travel to corporate locations 3–5 times per year.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$83,776.62 to $111,702.16
