Cybersecurity Tool Support Analyst Tier II

Overview

CYBERSECURITY TOOL SUPPORT ANALYST TIER II (MIELS):

Bowhead is seeking a Cybersecurity Tool Support Analyst to support the USMC M26 contract in Quantico, VA. Support for the contract will consist of program management; logistics; asset management; engineering; customer service; research and development of new capabilities; test and evaluation; manpower, training, and personnel; new equipment fielding and training; financial management; information assurance; cybersecurity; and 24X7 enterprise services operations and sustainment.

Responsibilities

- Demonstrate operational proficiency with major enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms such as Splunk.

- Utilize major enterprise host-based security suites such as Trellix.

- Demonstrate experience with DoD-standard vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS.

- Demonstrate knowledge of information security systems and applications for DoD and IC projects / DoD 8510.01 / Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503.

- Perform intelligence Community Information Technology Systems Security Risk Management.

- Utilize Cybersecurity tools such as HBSS and Forescout.

Qualifications

- Three to five (5+) years of cybersecurity experience

- Experience with enterprise Comply to Connect and Network Access Control suites such as Forescout / enterprise host-based security suites such as Trellix/ other Cybersecurity tools such as Splunk, ACAS, HBSS

- Maintain IAT II Certification

- Top Secret/ SCI with eligibility for CAP/SAP/STO access

- Strong skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts and demonstrable skills in oral and written communications, examples of technical publications / conference presentations may be requested.

- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- BA/BS in relevant technical field

- Seven (7+) years of cybersecurity experience

- Requires a strong working knowledge of Information Security (IS) security controls, security technical implementation guides (STIGS) requirements as identified by and applied in the DoD Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.

- Ability to work with various levels of technical and management staff.

Physical Demands:

- Must be able to lift 25 pounds

- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically

The pay scale for this position is between $155,000 - $185,000.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level with the ability to obtain a Counter Intelligence Polygraph. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
