Licensed Counselor – Mental Health & Substance Use Treatment
Make a meaningful impact every day. Join the clinical team at High Focus Centers in Farmington , where you’ll work directly with individuals receiving treatment for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
We’re seeking a Counselor with a Master’s degree and counseling/social work licensure to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in our Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs.

💰 $52,000–$60,000/year
⭐ Monthly merit & referral bonus opportunities
🗓️ Full-time | Monday–Friday
🌙 At least two evenings per week, 12 PM–8 PM
What You’ll Do
As a Counselor, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships while helping clients work toward their treatment and recovery goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting individual, family, and group therapy
- Completing behavioral and psychosocial assessments and Level of Care Assessments
- Developing and monitoring individualized treatment goals in collaboration with the clinical team
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicating with referral sources and outside providers as appropriate
- Supporting utilization review and ensuring documentation meets clinical and regulatory requirements
- Participating in treatment planning and aftercare/discharge planning
- Contributing to therapeutic curriculum development and clinical programming
- Participating in an on-call rotation as directed
- Completing required clinical, company, and accreditation training
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field
- LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LPC — or actively working toward obtaining licensure
- Counseling/clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to supporting individuals and families navigating mental health and substance use challenges
