IT DX Cloud Tenant Architect supporting DX Customer tenant for Informatics SaaS Platform build out. This role leads the strategy, architecture, and operations of Siemens Healthineers' cloud tenant infrastructure. The individual will oversee multi-tenant cloud environments, guide a team of architects and engineers, drive infrastructure projects, partner with global IT and cybersecurity teams, and ensure secure, scalable, and reliable cloud services across the organization. The ideal candidate brings 8-10+ years of cloud architecture and infrastructure leadership experience, with strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP, cloud security, automation, and enterprise-scale IT operations.
What You'll Do
As the IT Team Lead Service & Product Ownership (Cloud Tenants) for the DX business, you will be responsible for:
- Building and owning the future DX Cloud Tenant Infrastructure
- Being a member of the Site and Support Operations team and helping to execute the vision of the Site and Support Operations leadership strategy
- Ownership of architecture of all Cloud-based tenants for the infrastructure organization
- Team Lead role where you will train and upskill architects and engineers on best practices, implementations, and operations of tenant build and management
- Monthly reporting metrics of tenant services including data volumes, users, services, and security posture
- Training of proper Change Management and Demand processes in relation to cloud tenants
- Escalation support for Major Incidents impacting infrastructure services at DX sites
- Project Management and Technical oversight for critical DX infrastructure projects
- Maintaining close relationships with IT Service Owners in Global Infrastructure
- Partnering with both the Site Management Infrastructure (SMI) and Onsite Support (OSS) teams for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and problem reporting
- Partnering with the various Cybersecurity teams within the global organization

- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) focused on translation of IT to business and business to IT requirements
- L3/L4 technical problem-solving capability and considered a subject matter expert in IT infrastructure and IT support
- Ability to work effectively in global, multi-cultural teams
- Broad understanding of SHS IT strategy, IT industry standards, and the tools and technologies that make up the current SHS IT landscape
- Deep understanding and experience in IT solution design with the capability to implement solutions and troubleshoot as required
- Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence with a continuous improvement mindset
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience within IT Architecture of Cloud environments or equivalent technical and leadership roles
- Willingness to travel up to 20%

Core Technical Expertise
- Multi-Tenant Architecture Design: Designing isolated, scalable, and secure tenant environments within shared cloud infrastructures
- Cloud Platform Expertise: Deep engineering knowledge of platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Configuring complex identity federation, role-based access control (RBAC), and tenant-level isolation boundaries
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automating tenant provisioning and management using tools like HashiCorp Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Network Architecture: Designing secure VPCs, tenant network isolation, private links, and cross-tenant connectivity
Governance & Security
- Tenant Isolation Security: Implementing strict logical or physical separation data patterns to prevent cross-tenant data leakage
- Compliance & Data Privacy: Aligning tenant structures with global standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
- Cloud Cost Optimization: Setting up tenant-specific billing, cost allocation tags, and resource optimization strategies
Modern Architecture & Systems
- Microservices & Containers: Managing containerized workloads across multi-tenant clusters using Kubernetes or Amazon EKS
- SaaS Design Patterns: Architecture of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) routing, tiering (free vs. premium tenants), and noisy-neighbor mitigation
- Database Sharding & Isolation: Implementing database-per-tenant, shared-database/separate-schema, or shared-schema data models
Professional & Leadership Skills
- Strategic Collaboration: Partnering with product, security, and engineering teams to define the long-term cloud tenant strategy
- Technical Leadership: Guiding development teams on cloud migration patterns and multi-tenancy best practices
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting complex cross-tenant performance bottlenecks and system dependencies

The base pay range for this position is:
$172,690 - $237,446
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
