As a Day Habilitation Instructor at Anderson Center for Autism , you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining instructional systems that promote learning, communication, social development, and quality of life for adults participating in our Day Habilitation programs. Through individualized support, team leadership, and evidence-based practices, you will help ensure that each person receives meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.

In this role, you'll work closely with Day Habilitation Specialists, behavioral staff, related service professionals, and program leadership to create engaging learning environments, implement Life Plan goals, support behavioral interventions, and ensure high-quality service delivery across program and community settings.

What You Will Do as a Day Habilitation Instructor
- Develop and maintain program systems, schedules, materials, and documentation.
- Deliver and assess individualized and group instruction daily.
- Train and support staff to ensure effective, goal-aligned service delivery.
- Use behavioral supports to promote learning, skill development, and participant success.
- Oversee Life Plan goal implementation, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Foster positive, engaging environments that support communication, social development, and independence.

The Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, education, habilitation, or human services preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Medication Certification status.
- Ability to obtain and maintain agency driving privileges.
- Strong leadership, training, and documentation skills.

- Obtain and maintain all required certifications and agency training.
- Assist with crisis intervention procedures and emergency response requirements.
- Accurately complete documentation, data collection, and reporting responsibilities.

Pay Range: $22.50 - $27.70 per hour; based on certifications, experience and education
