Construx Co LLC is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial interior construction projects across Long Island . This role will be responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within scope.
Projects primarily consist of retail and medical fit-outs, including interior demolition, MEP coordination, framing, drywall, and HVAC installation.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day field operations across multiple concurrent projects
Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
Conduct and document daily field reports using project software (Autodesk)
Coordinate inspections and ensure all critical milestones and inspection points are met
Proactively identify and solve field-related issues to maintain schedule
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and internal teams
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Support scheduling adjustments, including occasional night work if required

Qualifications

25+ years of construction experience (Superintendent or Foreman-level candidates encouraged)
Experience managing commercial interior / fit-out projects preferred

Strong understanding of:
MEP systems
Interior construction sequencing
Inspection processes

Proven ability to problem-solve in the field and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and leadership skills
Familiarity with construction management software (Autodesk preferred) [Actalent -...s is ready | Outlook]
Willingness to travel between job sites (Long Island)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Babylon, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
