Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting Kite’s strategy for representativeness and inclusion in clinical trials in partnership with the multi-year vision for trial equity and optimization. This strategy includes building and nurturing community and advocacy relationships, building awareness internally and externally, driving health literacy, designing diversity into programs and studies, enabling clinical trial patient participation, and improving clinical trial participant outcomes. This role will transform the success of participation and retention of diverse populations that are representative of the global epidemiology of the disease states where we are pursuing treatment, and curative therapies. Collaboration across key development and functional areas is critical (e.g., Real World Evidence, Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Science, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Public Affairs).

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement digital engagement campaigns that increase awareness, participant engagement, and qualified referrals, leveraging email marketing, digital content, webinars, and targeted outreach strategies.
- Develop and execute patient recruitment and enrollment strategies that leverage digital marketing channels and insights from patient, community, and trial equity initiatives to improve awareness, participation, and enrollment across clinical trials.
- Design and manage multi-channel digital campaigns (e.g., social media, search, email, websites, and outreach initiatives in collaboration with patient advocacy organizations and community partners) to engage diverse patient populations and drive qualified referrals to study sites.
- Partner with Clinical Operations, Patient Engagement, Site Engagement, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs, and external vendors to align recruitment activities with trial timelines, enrollment goals, and Trial Equity objectives.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, patient conversion rates, enrollment trends, and return on investment, providing actionable recommendations for continuous optimization.
- Identify and implement innovative digital recruitment strategies and enrollment solutions that increase clinical trial awareness, improve participant engagement and conversion, and optimize enrollment and retention outcomes through scalable, data-driven approaches.
- Serve as the digital marketing and patient enrollment subject matter expert, establishing best practices, standard processes, and scalable approaches that strengthen Kite's patient recruitment capabilities and support long-term Trial Equity goals.

Basic Qualifications:

- 6+ Years with BS/BA
OR
- 4+ Years with MS/MA

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience developing and executing digital marketing and patient-facing communications for diverse audiences
- Experience with marketing, analytics, and digital engagement platforms
- Knowledge of / experience with Social Media platforms (i.e. Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, etc.)
- Proficiency with digital content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, or similar platforms)
- Bachelor or higher degree in Life Sciences, Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Data Science, or related field
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of drug development and Phase I-IV clinical trials
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, including project management of multiple time-sensitive projects
- Ability to communicate complex topics in simple terms to a variety of internal and external stakeholders that is succinctly tied to the overall strategy for representativeness in clinical trials
- Ability to effectively collaborate across a diverse, global, highly matrixed team environment
- Efficient, organized, and able to handle short timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with database and dashboard development and analytical visualization tools and software
- Excellent English language fluency including verbal and written communication skills, with a track record for effectively communicating scientific, medical, and organizational concepts

The salary range for this position is: $143,225.00 - $185,350.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
