Ready to grow your technical skills and build a career in data center operations? Oracle’s Catalyst Velocity program is designed for individuals with a foundation in technology, technical operations, or related experience who are ready to take the next step.
Catalyst Velocity is a 12-week paid work and training program that prepares participants for a career in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data center operations. Through hands-on experience, technical training, mentorship, and career development, participants will strengthen the skills needed to succeed as a Data Center Technician.
The goal of the program is for trainees to transition into permanent, full-time Data Center Technician positions upon successful completion of the program, based on available opportunities and applicable employment requirements.
What you’ll learn
- During the 12-week program, you’ll receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced data center technicians.
- You’ll develop and strengthen your technical skills across key areas of data center operations, including server hardware, networking fundamentals, Linux, cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, safety and operational best practices, and inventory and logistics operations.
- You’ll also receive coaching and mentorship to support your continued technical and professional development and help prepare you for a career in data center operations.
