Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator Job Description
The Recruiting/Onboarding Coordinator will provide essential leave coverage for a key member of the HR team while supporting ongoing recruiting and onboarding operations. This individual will collaborate closely with the Recruiting Manager, Recruiting Team, and HR leadership to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding workflows and candidate onboarding activities through iCIMS.
- Track onboarding task completion and ensure compliance with onboarding requirements.
- Generate and analyze reports related to onboarding progress and completion metrics.
- Review large data sets, validate information, and identify discrepancies.
- Support hiring and recruiting operations during a period of increased hiring demand.
- Assist with offer processing and new hire documentation.
- Coordinate communication with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support HRIS initiatives, including upcoming system implementations.
- Assist with data migration, data validation, workflow review, and process testing.
- Help improve onboarding and recruiting processes through systems and reporting analysis.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the HR and Recruiting teams.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience with iCIMS onboarding module, including onboarding workflow management, task tracking, reporting, automated communications, troubleshooting, system administration, configuration, and onboarding completion monitoring.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions.
- Experience in HR/Recruiting coordination and onboarding, including coordinating onboarding activities, processing new hire documentation, managing candidate workflows, extending offers, tracking onboarding progress, communicating with candidates, and supporting recruiting operations in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience participating in HRIS implementations or system migrations is a plus.
- Comfortable in a temporary environment with the potential for extension and/or conversion.
Work Environment
The role is primarily onsite in San Diego, within a collaborative HR and Recruiting team environment. The organization is fast-paced, supporting more than 80 open positions. The manager is flexible and supports occasional scheduling adjustments when needed. Initial training will be conducted in person alongside the team, with potential for limited hybrid flexibility after training and successful ramp-up.

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
